Utilizing this has allowed me to grow and become a successful musician. These skills I learned and developed are the same principals I use to teach students. Also, I am able to utilize my experience to relate each student individually according to where they are in their journey towards becoming a musician. Applying these qualities to my life as a musician as well as an instructor has allowed me to become a great teacher. Formal Education: Grand Rapids Community College- Music Performance 2011-2012 Performing Experience: Music Conductor for Grand Rapids Arts Festival. Performed with grammy winning and nominated artists such as: Marvin Sapp, Tye Tribett, Karen Clark, Joe, Trey Songz, El Debarge, Bridget Kelly, Mya, Chico Debarge and many more. Experience Teaching: Instructed students, co-workers, friends, and family ranging from 5-60 years of age.
