My name is Trey and I am a Guitarist/Keyboardist from Houston, Tx. I have been a student of music for 14 years. My musical influences include modern rock, gospel, CCM, indie, and pop. and I also enjoy Jazz. My teaching style can best be described as professional performance and recording. My teaching philosophy can best be described by saying that I help you find your own sound. In my lessons, you can expect to learn basic theory, favorite song of your choice, how to create your own original music, and professional tricks. I like to tell my students to have fun and work hard because in the end it will be worth it. My favorite thing about teaching is helping students find out why they enjoy the music they listen to and how they can create it themselves. My favorite performance was me playing guitar for a television special at the Verizon Wireless Theater in Kentucky called "How Sweet The Sound". There I was rubbing shoulders with world-class musicians. My students love that I am very patient and help them understand music concepts by simplifying them in to very small segments. I primarily teach piano, but I can also teach electric guitar.
