I was blessed to have been born with a passion for music. With it came "groove and ear" attachments to it. Now I am ready to pass on my expertise to eager students with a desire to learn music in pop, contemporary, rock, blues, latin, Latin jazz as well as traditional music on piano. Pop harmony, scales, chord-voicing, comping and accompanying and so forth. I have been a professional musician-performer for 45 years as a piano and vocal entertainer in Mexico, Japan, Canada, Hawaii, Central America and the US... Also, I am a song arranger, producer, studio musician and sound engineer for 26 years and still rolling. Worked for Juan Gabriel (Latin song writer performer) as an arranger, demos, studio musician and performer as well as other artists. I attended UTEP as a Music Education Major. Had my first piano lessons as a child in Tijuana, Mex. Taught private piano lesson here in El Paso for about 12 years. My technique strategy is: Show music notation if necessary, scales, fingering, chords, piano voicing, the essence of the blues and the relation to rock and country music, ear training.
