I am a 22yo vocalist from Gonzales, Louisiana, now residing in Tampa, FL! Coming from a musically inept family, I was entranced by music at an early age, putting on performances for my family as a child! I joined band in 6th grade on the trumpet and found my love for singing when I was 12! I joined a church choir when I was 14 and began to learn songwriting. I continued to play in band throughout high school with some choir participation before going to college for Vocal Performance where I had classical training. After moving to Florida, I continued to learn techniques in other genres such as pop, rock, metal, and soul! I am currently in a rock band! I am a childcare worker and learned to teach young children music fundamentals and encourage a creative outlet! I provide a judgment-free environment with a focus on expression, breathing, theory fundamentals, and healthy singing technique including classical, belting, and screaming. Students love my bright personality, eccentric style, out-of-the-box thinking, and patience, often inspiring people of all ages to express the full range of their creativity in all of the arts! Louanne's Music Lessons (Piano)

    by Taylor Robinson Music

    St. Petersburg, FL

Years of Experience: 2 Location Options: In Studio Genres: Classical Age Groups: Adult Instruments Taught: Keyboard and Piano Lessons Overview: Hello, I am Louanne and started my journey in music with the piano at 6 years of age. In elementary school, I heard my first orchestra perform and fell in love with the French Horn and that became my second instrument. As a teenager, I was interested in a guitar my father had in the corner and taught myself to play and by the time I was in college I started playing electric bass guitar in a band with friends. Eventually I bought an electric guitar and continued to teach myself to play and even learned how to fix and modify it. As an adult, I learned to play drums and continue to enjoy playing them to this day. Piano, however, is my first love and has always been with me. It is the "master instrument" and as such my approach to teaching it is classical and structured. I learned that practice does make perfect. Learning piano can improve a person's concentration and memory as well as soothe your soul. This is why of all the instruments I have played, the piano remains my beloved favorite.
