Our 6-day Backpacking Summer Camp for youth in Washington’s Olympic National Park is designed for participants ages 14-18 who are either new or experienced backpackers. On this yoga and hiking adventure we will meet at a designated location and then guests will follow the guide to the trailhead. We'll then go on a 2-2.5 mile hike meandering through a beautiful desert eco-system, learning about plants and animals of the area along the way from our Wilderness First Responder and Utah Master Naturalist guide. Then, on top of the sticky Navajo Sandstone, we'll find a flat spot for a 1 hour yoga and meditation practice. While doing so, we'll have views of Zion National Park, the Pine Valley Mountains, or gorgeous candy cane stripped cliffs. Finally, the group will walk back. ~3-4 our tour. Our indoor center in West Chester is one of the only places in the country to offers the sport of Archery Dodgeball. Sign up as an individual or a group and battle it out with bows and foam-tipped arrows. Each session is 60 minutes. Each session starts with an introduction where we'll teach everyone how to shoot. We have a range of bows suitable for both kids ages 7+ and adults. Our host will guide everyone through a series of mini games. Each game last about 5 minutes.
