Wild Wild Wilderness Camp For Incoming JK/TK and Kindergartners

In this unique experience, young adventurers will delve into the captivating world of wild animals, learn essential survival skills, and experience the fun of "camping" right in our Junior Kindergarten classroom. Campers will create imaginative crafts using natural materials, and learn the basics of reading maps. The week culminates in an exciting scavenger hunt, where campers navigate the school grounds using their newfound map-reading skills to take part in a treasure hunt. All of the camps come together for lunch, recess breaks, and special events. There are free choice activities in the morning/afternoon including games and crafts. This camp is for incoming junior kindergarten, transitional kindergarten or kindergarten campers. We strive to provide a fun, nurturing and safe learning environment for our youngest campers. Your Camper will spend half the day in Marine Science Camp: Campers will have the opportunity to utilize our amazing Marine Science Lab with our Marine Science Teacher Ms.Dickey. We will explore the wonders of the marine environment and celebrate habitats and life of the ocean, and our shores. Whether they are new to marine science, or passionate oceanographers at heart, students will take part in creative and hands-on activities, projects, and play that inspire learning and a greater appreciation for ocean stewardship. The other half of their day will be spent in Ninja Warrior Training Camp: Get ready to run, jump, climb, tip toe, skip and battle your way through various challenges, activities, relays and obstacles. Each day there is a focus on one of the many social emotional, and/or physical skills to have the heart, body and mind of a ninja warrior. Daily they train to complete tasks and sharpen skills!
