Empowering students to reach their full potential through personalized support is my passion. For the past eight years, I have been a teacher, fostering engaging and patient learning environments. I vary my teaching strategies with visual aids, hands-on activities, discussions, and practice problems. I connect challenging topics to real-world examples to build momentum. Communication is essential for understanding student needs, and I provide regular updates to keep parents informed. I am a certified teacher and experienced with Individualized Education Programs (IEP) and student accommodation plans (504). Seeing a student's confidence grow as they master new skills is the most rewarding aspect of tutoring. I am available to tutor elementary school students in math and English at their home, a center, online, or at the library. I have a masters degree in Curriculum and Instruction. I have a car and am comfortable with pets. I would love to help your student succeed!
