About Alyssia

I love children with all my heart and I look forward to meeting more! I'm looking for a job that allows me to keep in touch with what I love to do most, take care of children and help out their families the most I can. I started working with kids officially when I was 15 working for a family helping them with housework (laundry, dishes, cleaning) while caring for their two children. I got a teaching job at 18 at a daycare and now I am a substitute teacher at 20 while going to school for my bachelors. Some skills that I have gained over the years of working with children is involving the children in things that involve them (allowing them to help me cook food for them, pick out their own clothes, choose what they want to play with etc.) I also feel like another skill of mine is being able to communicate well with the children and families.
