2 years of early childhood education at Orange County community college. Pre-k level. I loved working with the children, I loved the projects we got to create for the curriculum. Now I homeschool my toddler in T-K through charter school and state curriculum. I keep screen time limited making all of our learning and fun outside, hands-on, exploring and adventures. We do worksheets when necessary but keep it natural and fresh. Singing, dancing and creating a safe routine to keep everyone in a calm and encouraging space. When we have big feelings, they are encouraged to express them in a safe manner and guided through safe and healthy methods of calming the body. Wall pushing, deep breathing, pillow squishing, ball kicking etc.
