Hello, my name is Amy. My childcare experience includes caring for family as well as paid professional childcare and daycare work. I also have a degree in Nutrition, so learning about healthful eating is something I am happy to share with children if a family would like to do that. I have caregiving experience with twins through my nieces who are now age 7. I assisted with them from infancy and began caring for them more regularly as a part time, paid nannying position from age 2. From Fall 2021 to current I have cared for children ranging from 3-month-olds to 5-year-olds in a daycare setting, live-out Nanny, and babysitting. I am most experienced with toddlers. I am a big believer in positive guidance & Montessori philosophies. I am happy to support parents of any kind and learn what I need to so I can provide excellent care for your kiddos. Things I love to do with kids are: singing, dancing, music, outdoor exploration, STEM activities, arts & crafts, etc.

We really loved having Amy as our babysitter. From the very first day she came to meet our daughter, she was warm, friendly, and just instantly comfortable to be around. She got down on the floor to play right away and connected with our daughter so naturally. While she was with us, Amy was patient, kind, and really engaged. She did so many crafts and little activities with our daughter, read tons of books, took her outside, went on walks — all the things that make a day feel full and fun. I work upstairs, and I could always hear happy little giggles and chatter, which honestly made it so much easier to focus and relax. She was also great with communication, reliable, flexible when our schedule changed, and very respectful of the routines we set. She got along well with our dog and cats too, which was really helpful. We would absolutely hire Amy again — the only reason we had to pause care was because of an unforeseen change on our end. We really do hope to work with her again once things settle. Amy is wonderful, and any family would be lucky to have her!
