About Ashbie

Throughout my middle school and high school years, I've always loved math and keeping up with school work in general. It was always a fun challenge for me, and I had a 4. 2 GPA in high school while balancing out my extracurriculars. I've never had a paid tutoring position, but I often would be in the classroom during office hours, after school, or on lunch breaks to seek guidance from teachers. The best way to learn was to teach others, and so I spent much time throughout high school and middle school teaching my peers. With the pandemic, I had the task of setting up my little cousins for online school/learning and helping them with elementary-level homework in all subjects. I'm very hands-on, patient, and engaging when it comes to applying the material. I'm sure to approach problems in different ways and I'm able to be flexible. I'm comfortable with any subject at the elementary level, and mainly math and english at the middle school level.
