With three years of experience, I create engaging and patient learning environments, empowering students to develop critical thinking and problem-solving skills. I actively listen to students and observe their initial interactions with new material. Open communication about effective methods is key. Regular parental check-ins and feedback are also essential. I connect challenging topics to real-world examples. I also celebrate small successes and provide positive reinforcement. It's rewarding to witness a student's "aha!" moment. I am pursuing graduate studies and I am comfortable tutoring elementary students in Math, English, Science, Study Skills, and History. CPR and First Aid certified, I have a car and am comfortable with pets. I would love to help your student achieve their academic goals!
