About Carolyn

I'd describe my personality as friendly, dedicated, and helpful. I like tutoring because it gives me an opportunity to assist a student in a one on one setting so they are comfortable and successful. I'm looking for a job that has some flexibility since I am an active person with a variety of commitments. I started tutoring when I was a young stay at home mom, but once my children were in school I returned to the classroom as a teacher. In my spare time, I like to read, enjoy activities with friends and work on craft projects. One thing you should know about me is I am dependable and always want students to be successful. My skills include assessing the needs of the student, providing the needed lessons for improvement and giving positive reinforcement to the student.
