About Kya

I'd describe my personality as creative, social, and adaptable! I like tutoring because watching children grow not only in their learning, but confidence in education makes it all worth it! Building interpersonal relationships with the children I work with is one of my biggest priorities so a child cannot only be comfortable with me, but open about their struggles. I started tutoring in 2023. In my spare time, I like to paint, make jewelry, go to the beach, and focus on school! One thing you should know about me is I not only focus on academic success, but long-term personal growth through growth mindset! My skills include using visual aids, positive communication, and most of all English!
