About Catherine

Hello! My name is Catherine and I live on the Northwest side of Chicago. My elder care experience is limited to caring for my own elderly parents and grandparents, and I learned how important quality, compassionate care can improve health outcomes for older adults. I also learned how valuable trusted support is to families and caregivers. I really enjoy hearing stories of seniors' lives and experiences. We have a lot to learn from our oldest generation and they deserve quality attention and care. I'm looking for a job that offers shorter shifts, such as taking someone to the grocery store, running errands for them, doing jobs around the house, etc. In my spare time, I like to garden, go to concerts, practice yoga, spend time in nature, and cook! I have three older children and a large local family. I know how stressful elder care can be on families, and I want to be a support. My skills include medication management, patient care advocacy, and everyday support.
