Christina has cared after the babies in the nursery for about a year and a half and I couldn't be more grateful for her. She is reliable, consistent, and very loving! Not only do the children love her, but so do her peers. She is very intentional with every child: teaching them new skills, singing, and tending to their needs. 

Christina was such a blessing. She can do anything and does everything as it relates to newborn and toddler care. She was super attentive, loving, and caring towards our son, who adored her. She is knowledgeable about the different phases of development, what's important for the baby to be engaged and exposed to at what periods of their life, and how to expose them to it. Super diligent around a communication and documentation of the babies day and how she cared for him. She made homemade food and meals that my son loved. I would recommend her for any and every age and child. We miss her everyday!

Christina, known to us as Lani, was a blessing for our family. She is an all-around amazing person and has the attributes of a top-notch professional: caring, creative, trustworthy, reliable, thoughtful. Her deep childcare experience shows in every way. Lani had a structured approach. Not only did our daughter love hanging out with her but every day was like "going to school." She was learning so much on a daily basis and experiencing new things. Most important of all, Lani truly adored our daughter. The two are best buds. We wished we could have taken Lani with us when we moved out of state. Christina was an amazing nanny for my two children. She spent over 2 years with us and cared for my 4 month old daughter and 4 year old son at the time. Lani (Christina) has been a fantastic care giver for our daughter.  Lani is no longer caring for L. on a daily basis because L. (now 3 1/2) is now in preschool, however, Lani has cared for L. since she was 6 months-old.  She has been a blessing to our family.  Repeatedly I have been told by people who have encountered Lani while caring for L. who have stated that it is amazing how well she cares for L. and how close they seem (assuming that with their special bond that Lani must be her grandmother).  Lani was so helpful in creating a calm, fun, nurturing environment and believes in gentle parenting.  She never yells, never spanks, and she is able to gain the cooperation of a toddler merely by respecting them and their needs.  Other parents have marveled over how well-behaved my daughter is and that never came from a controlling/authoritarian approach.  She taught respect by being respectful to L.  She has helped with all facets of care for our daughter & our home. 

Christina worked as an administrative secretary in the State's Attorney's Office for several years.  In my position of Victims' Advocate, I supervised administrative staff.  Christina was an excellent employee.  She was always on time and willing to take on additional tasks as needed.  She was an exceptional multitasker and was always very pleasant and helpful to agencies and clients that she dealt with.  She put in long hours when we needed assistance and did not receive additional pay. She was efficient, a quick learner, and a team player.   I have nothing but high praise for Christina and would highly recommend her for any position she has an interest in.  She will definitely be an asset to whoever is fortunate to have her. From December 2012 to October 2013, we had the great pleasure to have had Christina as our nanny for our back then 18-month old son.
We can say without hesitation that Christina/Lani is one of the most trustworthy, caring, considerate, reliable caregivers that we have had the privilege to work with. Lani is conscientious, loving and hardworking. We have absolutely no reservations in recommending Lani to anyone looking for a nanny/babysitter that truly goes above and beyond and takes great pride in her work.

We loved Christina! We wished that she had never left Hawaii.  We've had several child care providers subsequently, and I can say with certainty that Christina was the best. She took care of daughter starting at two-months of age for four months.  She took care of basic needs (feeding, cleaning, changing) as expected, and also integrated various activities such as reading to her, playing with toys, taking walks outside, and exposing our daughter to different environments/stimuli. Christina drove our daughter to her Gymboree classes (she's a careful driver and kept a clean car), kept a daily log of activities, and also sent us pictures everyday.
     When you first interview Christina, she comes off as being very reserved, which is completely opposite of her personality when she's with babies/children.  She has this huge smile that always got daughter smiling.  (Christina visited Hawaii about a year ago and daughter still remembered that smile!)  daughter loved Christina and would happily go to her in the mornings.  I liked the fact Christina always made daughter laugh and didn't believe in using negative words (i.e. stop, don't, no..) when she talked with daughter .  Christina is always very health conscious so I never worried about her energy/stamina to engage with daughter all day and it was exhausting because that little one did NOT like taking naps.

Christina (Lani) has been a blessing to our family.  She has been our younger daughter's nanny from the age of 3 months and is as nurturing as any mother would be.  She is punctual and reliable, and rarely gets sick, even though we have a four year old in day care who seems to bring home every virus known to man. Lani has the ability to watch multiple children if necessary.  On days when school has been closed, she has taken care of both our girls, giving them both the attention they need.  Lani kept our baby on a great schedule and even helped me in making purees when I was unable to.  She follows your requests and offers wonderful suggestions based on her previous experiences in care-giving.  Our youngest will be starting daycare and for that reason alone, we can no longer keep Lani on a payroll even though we truly wish to keep her eternally.  Lani is a wonderful caregiver, whom I would recommend highly to any family.
