About Christina

*Please note: I will add more hours to my availability June-Sept. As a teacher for four years, I strive to continue supporting students in an in-person tutoring setting, giving them the tools to succeed and build confidence. I am certified to teach children, ages kindergarten through sixth grade, in the following disciplines: mathematics, reading, writing, science, and social studies. I also have my special education certification, which equips me to teach and empower students with disabilities. In addition to my strong content knowledge and warm disposition, I aim to present learning in ways that are engaging to the student, thereby facilitating stronger interest and understanding of the skill. I hope to help build your students' love for learning and confidence in the classroom. My skills include communication, patience, positivity, giving corrective feedback, interpersonal skills, adaptability, and more. I feel comfortable tutoring students one-on-one or in small group settings.
