About Tanika

I am a certified elementary educator with professional experience teaching and tutoring children across multiple grade levels. I currently work in the classroom, where I support students with reading, writing, math, and foundational skills while adapting instruction to meet different learning styles and abilities. In addition to classroom teaching, I have experience providing one-on-one and small-group tutoring. I focus on building confidence, strengthening core skills, and helping students understand how to learn--not just memorize. I use engaging, age-appropriate strategies and real-world examples to keep students motivated and supported. I would be a great fit for tutoring because I bring professional teaching experience, a calm and positive approach, and a true passion for helping students succeed both academically and emotionally.
