Learning should be an exciting journey! My goal is to create an engaging and supportive learning environment where confidence flourishes. I vary my teaching strategies with visual aids, hands-on activities, discussions, and practice problems. I also encourage open communication about which methods work best. I connect challenging topics to real-world examples and break down complex problems into manageable steps. Communication is essential for understanding student needs, progress, and setting clear expectations. Regular updates help parents stay informed and reinforce learning at home. I have a high school degree and one year of experience tutoring elementary and middle school students in Math, English, and Science. Witnessing a student's "aha!" moment is truly rewarding.
