About Dolores

As a dedicated aspiring teacher, my philosophy of education centers on the belief that every child is capable of learning and throng when given the right support, encouragement, and tools. I view education as a partnership between the student, their family, and the tutor. With this I focus on creating a positive learning experience. I currently am a daycare assistant at Little Sprouts Daycare where I encourage children to build confidence within their learning. I am also an incoming Senior at Marian University studying in Elementary Education. Throughout my education at Marian University I have learned how to provide one on one systematic literacy instruction to improve reading skills. I have also been able to practice the science of reading. I have had plenty of experience observing teachers within classrooms along with provide services based on the recourses available. I am confident in teaching both math and reading lessons as I have had most of my experience within these.
