Dear Parents/Guardians My name is Courtney. I've worked with children 20+ years. I've cared for infants and elementary children including children who have special requirements. I'm happy to watch small groups, cook, clean, and care for pets and run errands. I have a bachelor's degree in elementary education with a double concentration in applied developmental psychology and cultural and linguistic diversity. I'm also internationally certified to teach English as a foreign language. I work full time M-F, therfore I am only looking for weekend shifts. My rate starts at $28 per hour. Courtney babysat/nannied for my 2 daughters, ages 7 and 4, from August 2020 to March 2021. In short, she is wonderful. My girls LOVE her. We needed someone to watch the girls when school went virtual during the pandemic. My older one was in school virtually and the younger one was just home. When school opened back later, Courtney watched the girls on half days, after school and in the evenings when I had work late. She is reliable, punctual and flexible. She also has teaching experience which was very helpful. Courtney is kind, gentle and lots of fun. The girls enjoyed playing with her, baking, crafting and going to the park. She's also mindful and helped them talk through their feelings. She's also extremely patient (my 4 year old can be a handful). We are so grateful to have found her during this challenging time and are going to miss her (she's moving out of state, which is why she will no longer be with us). Any family would be lucky to have her.
