About Dara

I worked as an after-school tutor for multiple ages. Within our program, I implemented key tutoring strategies to help with students focus and working towards their goals within their studies. Our program used a weekly reward system for each child to work at their own pace to meet their goal for the week. I tutored students in all elementary subjects and from grades K-8. I enjoy tutoring students in every subject. However, my strong subjects include: Language arts, Reading Comprehension, Handwriting, and Grammar. I also have experience in group tutoring and at different learning levels. I enjoy creating fun, hands-on ways of learning through games and creative activities. I am currently a pre-k teacher in a private school. Within my classroom, I have used each child different learning styles to create activities which will benefit the child specific learning needs. I work hard to make learning fun and easy for each child, as everyone learns differently.
