About Deanna

I am a recently returned Volunteer from Peace Corps Ecuador where I served as a Teaching English as a Foreign Language (TEFL) Volunteer. My students in Peace Corps and those from my multiple previous tutoring and teaching experiences have spanned every age group from preschool to college and I have had quite a bit of experience in test prep as well. I understand that every student is different and learns in his or her own style at his or her own pace and that is why I begin all of my tutoring relationships with a general assessment of where my students are at so that I may best help them. I am also a very creative person so I am able to come up with new and innovative ways to teach students in a fun and accessible way, and when coupled with my immense amount of patience, I am an excellent candidate to help your child succeed. Furthermore, I am reliable and responsible which means I am someone you can count on.
