About William

Hi! I'm an undergraduate student at Davidson College in North Carolina, where I am a history and political science double major with a 3. 96 GPA. I'll be in the D. C. area through August and I'm excited to continue tutoring and childcare for elementary and middle school students. I bring a breadth of childcare experience to the table, including several summers at Camp Laurel in central Maine and over a year of volunteer tutoring. I know how to make tutoring not just helpful--but fun! I like tutoring because it allows me to help others grow, build confidence, and achieve their goals through learning. A good education is key to so much in life, and there isn't much else that is more gratifying than teaching! I started tutoring in high school, assisting friends with their math homework. Since then, I have tutored intermittently in both paid and unpaid positions for the last 2-3 years. I spent the last year working on a regular basis as a volunteer tutor for a local school.
