About Deborah

I'd describe my personality as warm, patient, fun! I love helping students learn and find it inspiring! I have over 30 years experience teaching grades 1-6 in Rochester Community Schools. I have experience teaching small groups of students and individual learners. I am interested in helping home school parents with whatever needs they have, In my spare time, I like to enjoy nature! I love to walk, run, swim, garden and read on my patio, I love crafts and cooking. One thing you should know about me is I believe that love is a choice, I love my students and care deeply about their success and also work to make sure my lessons have variety and fun worked in. Children always like me and it makes me feel very blessed, My skills include adapting lessons to customize them for my learners. I am highly qualified in every area of elementary school. I partner closely with parents and provide specific feedback and ways children can extend at home, if families want additional practice.
