About Julie

I'd describe my personality as fun, patient, calm. I like tutoring because I get to work one on one with students and I can really get to know them, how they learn, and watch them grow in skills and confidence! In my spare time, I like to read, spend time with my adult children and play with my dogs and cats! One thing you should know about me is I'm a public school elementary teacher and I Love teaching! I have taught k-3, but am certified through 9th grade. I prefer to only tutor elementary students. I am fun, enthusiastic and loving. Fun facts: I have twin daughters, my favorite color is purple, and I love shopping at Target lol. My skills include phonics, early childhood skills like letters and sounds, reading and comprehension are my specialties!
