About Desiree

As a licensed special education teacher, I hold qualifications to work with students in grades k-12 and transitional ages up to the age of 21. I have a behavioral health background and am familiar with students with complex needs and challenging behaviors. I pride myself on meeting each student where they are and working working closely with them and thw family to determine where they need to go from there. I utilize truama informed practices, can build custom curriculum tailored to each student, and I use both naturalistic teaching methods as well as desk work. I would love to connect and see what your student needs and how we can work collaboratively to get them the best education possible!
