About Elise

I'd describe my personality as optimistic, considerate, and resourceful. I like tutoring because seeing my students grasping a concept they were previously unsure of is incredibly rewarding. It makes me smile every time seeing them excited because they can understand the material. I'm looking for a job that is friendly and supportive to both myself and those I tutor. I started tutoring in the math lab when I was in my sophomore year in high school. In my spare time, I like to read and work on various arts and crafts projects. One thing you should know about me is that I am prone to deescalation and compromise rather than debating my point. I would say that my top three skills include patience, communication, and creativity.
