About Ernestina

I currently own my own k-2 homeschooling tutoring business where I travel to my students' homes or to the library and build individualized plans to help each student reach their goals. My parents pay me through a scholarship. My objective is for students to build great habits through systems that can be applied through events outside of school. Helping students self regulate when they're emotional and understand the process of learning and its impact. I've been in education for seven years, almost eight years. I'm renewing my teacher license this year. I've started working with an ESE student this year in hopes to build different skills and levels of patience for unique students. I'm learning three languages: French, Spanish and Haitian Creole. I speak Spanish and Haitian Creole at an intermediate level. I plan to take music lessons again to build my ability to teach skills through music.
