About Grayson

I'd describe my personality as easy-to-talk-to, enthusiastic, and patient. I like tutoring because I love when a student's eyes light up as they finally grasp the concept and their mind races through all of the steps. I'm looking for a job that will let me be able to pass on my love for learning new concepts and figuring out problems regardless of topic. I started tutoring when I was in high school where I worked with students with special needs. I then tutored STEM in community college, and through the UC Davis honor society. In my spare time, I like to organize movie nights with my friends. My wife and I take our elderly dog on long walks around the neighborhood when the weather is nice. One thing you should know about me is I grew up with anxiety over school. But over time I was able to discover that learning new things was one of my favorite things to experience. My skills include patience, out of the box thinking, and an understanding of anxiety induced learning fears.
