About Griffin

I'm a private tutor for any grade level. I specialize in math and science, but also teach students computer science, English reading/writing, philosophy, study skills and time management, and much more! I graduated from MIT in 2022 with a B. S. in Computation and Cognition with a concentration in Philosophy and Linguistics. My academic background in the the field of education is what sets me apart; you can trust that your student is being taught how to think and learn for themselves and be deeply curious! I'm passionate about education and helping push the next generation to be intelligent, free-thinkers. I have 5+ years of tutoring experience and I was a teacher for Full STEAM Ahead, MIT's Summer math and science program for aspiring engineers. I also have 2 years of education research experience at MIT's Teaching Systems Lab. This research focused on creating simulated scenarios to help pre-service K-12 teachers practice teaching math and science argumentation.
