About Hayley

For the past 6 + years, I've been dedicated to helping students unlock their full potential. With a graduate degree and as a certified teacher, I create engaging and patient learning environments tailored to individual needs. I actively listen and observe how students interact with new material, adapting my teaching with visual aids, hands-on activities, and discussions. I connect challenging topics to real-world examples and celebrate every success. I work in special education and have experience supporting students with various learning disabilities, including autism, non-verbal students, and more. Communication is key; I provide regular updates to parents, fostering a collaborative approach. I can help with Math, English, Science, Art, Special Education, Study Skills, and History, for elementary, middle, and high school students. Seeing a student's confidence soar is the most rewarding part of tutoring. I have a car and am comfortable with pets. I look forward to working together!
