About Jennifer

I am currently a public school ENL teacher in my fourth year with experience teaching multiple subjects from kindergarten through 6th grade. I am passionate about creating an equitable classroom where all students feel supported and learning is engaging, interactive, and hands-on. I enjoy helping learners build confidence and succeed academically. Outside of teaching, I am a dedicated cat lover. I have my own cat and grew up in a household with multiple cats, so caring for them has always been part of my life. I also volunteer with cats at a local animal shelter and have experience cat sitting for friends. I'm comfortable caring for cats with different personalities and needs and enjoy spending time making sure they feel safe, happy, and well cared for.
