About Jennifer

I am a former 5th grade teacher and current substitute teacher and private tutor. I have experience in all subjects K-5, using both public school and homeschool curriculum. I am willing to offer homeschool services at a weekly rate and will work with you on a group rate, if needed! I'd describe my personality as determined, friendly, and patient. I like tutoring because I believe every child deserves access to a quality education. I'm looking for a job that allows me to share my skills as an educator! I started tutoring when I stopped teaching full-time to be more present with my family. In my spare time, I like to spend time with my husband and daughters. One thing you should know about me is I never give up! My skills include discovering gaps in learning and understanding different learning needs.
