About Katherine

I am a certified teacher with nine years of experience teaching elementary aged students. I love working with kids in a small group setting! I am excited to work with students outside of a classroom setting. I'd describe my personality as caring, patient, and fun. I like tutoring because it allows me to use my experience as a teacher in a small group setting outside of the classroom. It also allows me to get to know the students I work with well and to have fun with them. I'm looking for a job that fulfills my love for teaching and working with students and allows me to be creative. I started tutoring when I graduated from college. I having been teaching elementary students for nine years now. In my spare time, I like to play tennis, ride bikes, watch movies, go to the beach, and spend time with friends and family. One thing you should know about me is that I am very reliable and a hard worker. My tutoring skills include teaching elementary reading, writing, and math.
