I knew I wanted to teach when I was about 5. I asked for a chalkboard for Christmas and would line all my dolls and stuffed animals up for class. During college, I spent 6 months teaching English in Japan. Since then, I also teach Spanish and English as a Second Language to adults online. I never thought I would want to teach online, but when Covid forced us to, I adapted and discovered that I can in fact connect deeply with students and create fun and varied activities even in my online Google classroom. I love the freedom of being able to teach students all over the world. Teaching is my happy place!
