Hello! My name is Kirsten. I am a K-8 certified teacher with 9 years of professional experience. I have taught six years of Second Grade, one year of Fourth Grade and am currently teaching First Grade. I completed my student teaching at a military base in Germany as well as student teaching in my home district of Edmonds. I taught for six years at an International Baccalaureate School in Austin, Texas before moving home to Seattle. In the past I have also taught English online to students in China. Because of teaching through the pandemic in multiple states I have many skills in engaging students and helping them with what they need to learn.
