If you're looking for: - an incredible care-giver, loving teacher and trust-worthy person to be in your home on a regular basis - someone your child(ren) will adore, and smile as soon as they see - an individual that puts you completely at ease knowing they were in their care - a person who is mature, professional, communicative and warm... Hire Katie!! Do not hesitate. You can thank me later :) Truthfully - we were lucky to have Katie with our family this summer, and I can’t recommend her highly enough. She was an incredibly kind, sweet, and nurturing caregiver to our 1.5-year-old son, and she went above and beyond by also watching our two older boys (ages 4 and 6) as needed— who are very active, energetic, and, at times, quite rambunctious. What impressed us most was how she always found ways to connect with each of them individually. Whether it was hopping on the trampoline, going on walks, engaging them in educational activities like reading or puzzles, or coming up with creative distractions when they started to fuss or bicker, she handled every situation with patience, warmth, and maturity. For someone her age, her level of maturity and professionalism was remarkable. She communicated with us clearly and thoughtfully, set healthy boundaries when needed, and was truly enjoyable to have around — both with the kids and in conversation with us as parents. Any family would be lucky to have her as part of their lives. We will miss her but know it's not goodbye, it's see you soon.
