About Lashonda

I like tutoring because it provides a fulfilling experience by allowing me to directly help children learn, grow, build confidence and increase their understanding of a subject. My son who's now 22 and a senior in college greatly benefited from tutors, and he learned to advocate for himself because he understood how he learned and ways to help him be a successful student. I have 20 years of professional experience in 1st, 3rd, and 5th grade. My expertise is in reading, grammar, and writing. I do have experience in science and test prep for reading STAAR. I'd love the opportunity to help your family/student grow as a learner.
