About Leah

Hi there! My name is Leah and I'm a university student looking to provide in-depth, holistic academic tutoring while gaining experience to pursue a future in education. I have 6+ years paid tutoring experience, mainly with kids aged 8-16. My approach centers not just around academics, but also mindset/attitude and study habits. I believe these are key components to long term, sustainable success in the classroom. My main subjects are Mandarin (through AP Mandarin, including test prep!), English (all levels, including English as a second language), and math (through 8th grade). I also have experience working with students on executive functioning, organization, and study skills. I am open to both long-term and short-term/one-off positions.
