About Leslie

I'd describe my personality as friendly, patient, and optimistic. I like tutoring because I love education! I grow as I teach others and it's satisfying knowing we're both growing as individuals! I'm looking for a position with families or seniors that can be openly communicative of their needs and respects my time as well. I started tutoring when I was a Residential Advisor at Chico State for High School students! I tutored subjects like English, Math, Physiology and Medical Terminology! In my spare time, I like to go to the gym, walk my doggies around the neighborhood, and meditate:) One thing you should know about me is I am licensed as a Certified Nursing Assistant and have an active BLS certification. I have been a CNA for around 2 years now and have worked in multiple settings; SNF, long term, etc. Although my main focus has been geriatrics, I believe this experience has provided me a bigger understanding of time management, patience and compassion.
