About Madeline

I'm currently a full-time college student, enrolled at TAMUSA as a Junior to earn a degree in Education, along with my Early Childhood through Sixth Grade Teacher's Certification (with an emphasis in Reading). I have taken 5 education courses that focus on teaching reading and writing skills, as well as a course that focused on helping children who struggle with Dyslexia. In addition, I have experience with an 8-week tutoring plan, that included assessments, lesson plans, activities and games that revolved around the student and her own personal needs (comprehension, fluency, sight words, punctuation). I'm also enrolled in the SA Reads program as a tutor for two kinder students in SWISD. I would love to use the opportunities to tutor as many children as possible before I become a M-F teacher, because I believe both your child and myself would both greatly benefit from doing so.
