About Maria

I'd describe my personality as supportive, adaptable, and diligent I like tutoring because it allows me to help people further understand what they might be struggling with. It brings me joy when someone can go from not understanding something to being able to do it on their own. I'm looking for a job that is dependable and has an eager student who wants to put in the work and learn. I started tutoring when I attended Middlesex Community College as a Computer Science major. I tutored in Computer Science and English. I am now at UMass Lowell where my major is Mathematics. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with friends, family, and my dog, Leo. I stay active by going to the gym regularly. During the summer, I like to be outdoors paddle boarding, while in the winter I enjoy skiing. One thing you should know about me is I love a good challenge, it is rewarding to see hard work pay off. My skills include patience, preparation, and encouragement.
