I'm passionate about helping students unlock their potential. With a graduate degree and two years of experience, I create engaging and supportive learning environments tailored to individual needs. I vary my teaching strategies, using visual aids, hands-on activities, and discussions, while regularly checking in with parents for feedback. I connect challenging topics to real-world examples, celebrating small successes to build momentum. Open communication is essential for understanding student progress and building trust. Witnessing a student's "aha!" moment and growing confidence is the most rewarding aspect of tutoring. I have a car, am comfortable with pets, and can tutor online or at the library, community center, or school. I can help with math, test preparation, and music & drama courses. I am also CPR and First Aid certified. I'd love to help you achieve your academic goals.
