About Michelle

My name is Michelle, and I'm a recent graduate of UCLA, where I earned my B. S. in Molecular, Cell, and Developmental Biology (summa laude, 4. 0 GPA). I've been tutoring since 2019, starting at Kumon and later moving into private lessons, and I'm now looking to take in a few new students. I've worked with students from 1st grade through high school seniors, with a strong focus on math and biology, as well as other subjects, test prep, and college application essays. For families preparing for college, I also offer college prep coaching, perfect for the incoming senior class. I was admitted to several top UC schools such as UC Berkeley, UCSD, UCSB, and UCI, and while at UCLA, I led college prep workshops for underserved high school students, giving me valuable insight into the admissions process, financial aid applications, and essay writing.
