Hi there, I'm glad to see you here! I'm Miranda and I absolutely love working with children! I am originally from Florida, but moved to California in 2019. I've been a "caretaker" for most of my life, starting young volunteering at a church nursery, as well as taking on tutoring the younger grades and being the "on-hand" babysitter for many family members. Once in high school, I dual-enrolled to complete my Early Childhood Professional Certification I. Once graduated, I began working at a daycare to earn work experience. In California, the experience I have consists of a teaching job at an after-school program that I was at for about a year, and babysitting on and off for a family for 4 years. I've always found fulfilment in this field and would love to continue developing my skills, knowledge, and experience. My near future plans are to earn my certification and become a member of the INA, with more distant plans to earn my MA in Child Development.

Prompt, caring & thoughtful. We just finished our first week with Miranda as a part time nanny and she is a calming presence in our house with our 3 month old. Miranda asked a lot of questions about how we wanted her to care for our newborn and is already running with ideas to stimulate her development. She also was very patient as our baby adjusted to her first non-family caretaker.
