About Rachel

I am a passionate caregiver with extensive experience working with children of all ages. In high school, I taught swim lessons to infants, children, and teens with disabilities. While I attended University of Hawaii, I volunteered with the YMCA's afterschool program at a local middle school. I facilitated daily programming and summer camps. My goal has always been to elevate youth voices and promote leadership learning and healthy habits. During the summers, I worked as a kids counselor at a dude ranch in Mancos, Colorado, where I facilitated outdoor activities for groups of around 20 kids each week. Additionally, I have nannied for several families in Hawaii, providing personalized care and support. I hold CPR certification and a bachelor's degree in communications with a minor in communicology. I recently completed my commercial pilot's license. While the hiring in aviation has slowed down, I am eager to return to nannying and bring my skills and enthusiasm to your family.
