I have been an owner of dogs for the last 15-20 years and have devoted my life to them. I have spent thousands of dollars in the past to save their lives. My female Rottie had bone cancer and I had to have her leg amputated to save her. The hospital said she would only live for about 6 months but because of my care she lived almost an additional 2 years. The vet school did a study on her because of the length of time she lived. I also had a male Rottie that died of lung cancer and I took care of him. I have taken in strays many of which spent many happy years with me.
