About Samantha

Hi, My name is Samantha and I currently work as a scientist in cancer immunology for a private pharmaceutical company. I have a bachelors degree in biology and a masters degree in biomedical sciences. I have a lot of experience tutoring undergraduate and high school students. I also have experience with high school mentorship and guiding students through science competitions such as STS, WESEF and ISEF. I'm well connected in the science world and I have a lot of knowledge of high school mentorship and college internship programs. I use subjects like biology and chemistry in my every day work and I have many tricks to help you understand and remember confusing information. I enjoy helping students understand science because too often students don't like their science subjects because they spend hours trying to memorize terms, but don't understand the material well enough to apply it. I love to open the door that teaches students how to study and apply their work to everyday life.
