About Samantha

Hi! I'm Sam, a middle school science teacher with 10+ years of experience working with kids and teens. I have a strong background in tutoring, caregiving, coaching, and pet care. For the past five summers, I've supported a family of three children, primarily working one-on-one with a child who has a disability. I also spent three years in college working in a group home for adults with disabilities. I coached softball for six years, working with ages 12-17 on club and high school teams. I'm dependable, patient, and passionate about helping kids grow in confidence and independence. I'm also a big animal lover with three pets of my own, and I have experience working in a dog daycare. Whether it's academic support, care for children or individuals with disabilities, or loving pet care, I bring calm, structure, and a lot of heart to everything I do.
